Hoplite is a turn-based strategy game where you play as a Greek foot soldier who has to descend levels in a dungeon, using different abilities at your disposal. In doing so, you have to avoid or kill 💀 several demon 👹 opponents, including foot soldiers, bombers, archers and wizards.
Up to level 16, you encounter “altars” where you can pray 🙏 and unlock 🔓 new abilities. Some of these abilities cost you lives ❤️🩹 though, so you have to maintain a good balance ⚖️ between power 💪 and health 🫀.
Using these abilities, you have to forge a path to the stairs, which will take you to the next level.
Hoplite is a very interesting game, and you can use a different stack of abilities every time you play it. Because of this, it doesn’t get boring for a very, very long time.
